New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo criticized his country’s government policy in dealing with the emerging Corona pandemic, and the methods used to announce the epidemic.
“The president should have told the American people the truth,” Cuomo said. “It was a mistake to reduce the threat of the epidemic.”
He added: “It was a mistake to say that the epidemic will disappear during the Easter period, and that it will magically disappear.”
He continued, “It was a mistake not to prepare a national testing program that includes all American states, with the need to stress compliance with health procedures and recommendations followed in such a case.
THE PRESIDENT HAS TO TELL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THE TRUTH.
IT WAS A MISTAKE TO DOWNPLAY COVID.
IT WAS A MISTAKE TO SAY IT WOULD BE GONE BY EASTER.
IT WAS A MISTAKE TO SAY IT WILL MAGICALLY DISAPPEAR.
AND IT WAS A MISTAKE TO NOT SET UP A NATIONAL TESTING PROGRAM. PIC.TWITTER.COM/YOJOSNHY6A
